This is the first such undergraduate programme offered by a Sri Lankan university which commenced in 2012 blending agricultural knowledge with business management, entrepreneurial and marketing tools. The aim of the degree programme is to provide an opportunity for students to acquire knowledge and skills of basic agricultural concepts, production of agricultural commodities, entrepreneurial abilities and business management tools.
